Time is a river, and books are boats. Many volumes start down that stream, only to be wrecked and lost beyond recall in its sands. Only a few, a very few, endure the testings of time and live to bless the ages following. We pay homage to the greatest of all books - the one enduring Book which has traveled down to us from the far past, freighted with the richest treasure that ever any book has brought to humanity. What a sight it is to see men gathered about an open Bible - how typical of the spirit and genius of Masonry, its great and simple faith and its benign ministry to mankind.- R.W. and Rev. Joseph Fort Newton

It is not by accident that the Holy Bible is a fixture in every Masonic Lodge. Within the Holy Bible, our Volume of Sacred Law, is the moral and spiritual teachings that guide us in all our activities. While Masonry elevates no particular religious faith above another, we do recognize the Holy Bible as the source of our moral and spiritual guidance.
A "Masonic Bible" can be any Holly Bible that is used in a lodge. The most common Masonic Bible is the King James version. lostWord is proud to offer a collection of Masonic Bibles designed for use in the lodge or the home of a Mason. Our King James Bible on CD makes the entire King James edition searchable from your computer.
Candidate Program
A Masonic Bible is the ideal gift for a newly raised brother. Many lodges obligate the new Mason on his own personal Bible. His Masonic records are inscribed in the Bible and those present may sign the special pages before it is presented to him. It is a gift he will treasure his whole life.
Worshipful Master Program
Few gifts are more appropriate for a new Worshipful Master than his own Masonic Bible. It can be signed by all those attending his instillation and inscribed with his Masonic record. The Bible can be used during his installation and then brought home as his personal keepsake or used in the lodge during his term of office.
Memorial Program
As a token of esteem and brotherly love, a Masonic Bible from the lodge can be delivered to the funeral home of a brother called Home. Ask that the Bible be placed on a stand with a memorial page. Present the Bible to the brother's family at the conclusion of the service.
